Not every kitty dreams of curling up on the couch—

some are happier working around the barn, farm, shop, or property.

Generally, our cats prefer to be house cats, but occasionally we do get a few that would prefer to be a barn cat.

​

Our barn cats are looking for safe, suitable places where they can put their natural instincts to work. These independent kitties can make wonderful working cats, helping keep barns, outbuildings, and other areas free of unwanted critters while enjoying the freedom of a more independent lifestyle. Working cats are not lap cats. They tend to be independent, observant, and happiest when they have space to explore and a job to do.
